Dr. Tony Maciel earned a master’s degree and doctorate degree in marriage and family therapy from Loma Linda University in California. He also has specialties in clinical mediation and organizational consultation and professional relations. He is also licensed marriage and family therapist in Indiana and in California and has over 8 years of professional counseling experience. Dr. Maciel utilizes a strength-based, solution-focused approach combined with the exploration of established unhealthy patterns of behavior. Other professional achievements for Dr. Maciel include being a published author in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy and also in an edited textbook titled: Couples, Gender, and Power: Creating Change in Intimate Relationships. Finally, Tony has also taught for Argosy University as an adjunct faculty member.

Tony is a native of Palm Springs, California, and recently moved to Indiana to experience the different seasons and to be with his wife, Bethany, who is a native of Indiana. Tony is an avid electric guitar player. He also enjoys and participates in various sports such as boxing, cycling and running.
