David Soper, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and fully licensed as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP). He received his master’s degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Soper is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) and is certified by the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) Certification Commission (NCC) with the Adolescent Specialist Endorsement (ASE). He is also credentialed by the IN-AJSOP as a Level 1 Certified Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician (CSAYC). He has memberships in the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), the Beck Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT), and the Society for Christian Psychologists (SCP). His 20 years of clinical practice includes working with adolescents and adults through Convergence Therapy. Dr. Soper is married to his beautiful wife, Jan, and has three daughters, Carmen, Meredith and Darrelle.

Dr. Tony Maciel earned a master’s degree and doctorate degree in marriage and family therapy from Loma Linda University in California. He also has specialties in clinical mediation and organizational consultation and professional relations. He is also licensed marriage and family therapist in Indiana and in California and has over 8 years of professional counseling experience. Dr. Maciel utilizes a strength-based, solution-focused approach combined with the exploration of established unhealthy patterns of behavior.

Lisa D. Pay, LCSW, ACSW, MSW, BASW

Lisa is a licensed clinical social worker with 26 years of professional experience including her current position of 12 years as a Professor of Social Work at Anderson University. Lisa directed the Counseling Center at the University for 10 years prior to teaching. Lisa has implemented several Christ based 12 step recovery programs for churches and organizations, such as Celebrate Recovery. She has developed a workshop series for youth that is based on Christian Identity and Worth as understood in the Convergence Model of the Lives Transforming Ministry. She is a sought after speaker for church, college, counseling seminars and youth groups. She teaches the college course Thought Life and Spiritual Growth that has spawned a college based recovery program based on the Cognitive Theory and Judeo-Christian Principles found in the Freedom Series with Derek Wilder and Dr. David Soper. She is in private practice with AT THE WELL in Fishers, Indiana.

Jen Fornelli, MS, LMFTA earned her master’s degree from Indiana University, with a dual focus in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. Her approach to therapy is drawn from this influence: combining evidenced based treatment and family systems approaches, with a Christian worldview. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
